About Me
My Values
I value authenticity. Traditional therapy often maintains professional barriers that can feel isolating, especially for people who've already had to perform in so many spaces. I believe bringing genuineness into our work together creates space where you can practice being real without judgment. This isn't about me sharing my personal life. It's about showing up as a whole person in relationship with you.
I value collaboration. Therapy works best when it's a true partnership. I bring my knowledge of psychology, therapeutic approaches, and my humanity to our work together. You bring your expertise on your own life, your values, beliefs, and needs. The therapeutic process is most effective when we're working together toward goals that actually matter to you, not what someone else thinks you should want.
My Background
I work primarily with adults and couples navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship patterns. My clients are often cultural overachievers, recovering perfectionists, and folks who've mastered managing everyone else's emotions while losing track of their own needs. Whether you're breaking generational patterns, exploring non-traditional relationship structures, or simply trying to build a life that actually supports who you're becoming, we'll work together to create something real.
My approach integrates relational gestalt, narrative therapy, and emotionally focused therapy. This means we'll focus on how relationships shape you, examine the stories you tell about yourself, and work with emotions as valuable information rather than problems to solve.
