My Approach

Who I Work With

I work with adults and couples who are exhausted from having to be "twice as good" everywhere they go. My clients are often overachievers, recovering perfectionists, and folks who've mastered managing everyone else's emotions while losing track of their own needs. Whether you're navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship patterns, or major life transitions, you've come to the right place if you're ready to stop performing and start living authentically.

What We Work On

Individual therapy focuses on depression, anxiety, PTSD, and OCD as responses to life experiences that make perfect sense, not disorders to "fix." Couples therapy helps partners move beyond what they think they should want to discover what actually works, regardless of relationship structure. We explore what it means to honor your experiences while creating space for growth and building connections that fit your actual values.

How I Work

My approach draws from three key areas: understanding how relationships shape us, exploring the stories we tell about ourselves and rewriting them when needed, and helping couples identify and express their deepest needs. This means we focus on your relationships with yourself and others, examine the narratives that guide your life, and work with emotions as information rather than problems to solve.

Why This Matters

I believe healing happens through genuine human connection, not clinical distance. Traditional therapy often maintains professional barriers that can feel isolating, especially for people who've already had to perform in so many spaces. By bringing authenticity into our work together, I create space where you can practice being real without judgment. This collaborative approach helps you develop the skills to show up authentically in all your relationships.
